To be honest, when I started I thought " How is any of this going to make a difference in my life" as well as "I have so little time already, maybe I should not be spreading myself thinner by taking this". Let me tell you, before the course was even over I was already starting to see then drastic benefits my experience here has granted me. I can already look back and see significant ways my life would be different if I had not taken this course (and I would have been very much worse off if I would have opt out). This course has given me vital skills, essential awareness, invaluable connections, and substantial increase in confidence to operate in a field (the civilian corporate sector) that struck me as overwhelmingly alien, impermeable, and something I would just have to try a roll of dice to see where my life ended up. Now, not only can I see behind the veil, I know how to work it and people have people who will work with me if I need help. In a word, this course was imperative.
